Glaslough Villa 7 - 1 Newtown Celtic

Not to be outdone by their senior counterparts the under 18’s have added some silverware to an already bulging trophy cabinet this season. 

Despite the score line it was a very tight first 45 with the Glaslough natives going into the dressing rooms with a 2-1 lead. 

It would be a scintillating second half that would secure the shield for Villa, a wonderful performance saw the lads in Black & White score 5 goals on the Annagap field in front of a large crowd to secure a 4th title of the season for the club. 

A great team performance meant it was difficult to pick out one player however Sean McEvoy received the man of the match award. 

It was left to Seamie Sewell from Clones Town representing the MCL to hand the shield over to captain Frank Carville and kick off the celebrations yet again for Glaslough Villa
